Sunny Paipu Beach Honeymoon Photography Session
One of the many blessings of living on Maui is that I sometimes get to visit with friends that are vacationing on the island! In this case, I’ve known Lori online for several years now, but I never met her in-person before her recent Maui honeymoon. Lori and I attended the same nutrition school, and we are both registered nurses. We connected through a Facebook group for alumni of our nutrition school, and I’ve enjoyed following her over the years. When she reached out to ask if I’d take her and Paul’s photos during their honeymoon, I was so stoked!
Paul is also a registered nurse, and he and Lori met at work. They have been together for 11 years, and they live in Sacramento, California. They are such sweet and kind people! I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Lori and Paul about the current state of health care, and what it’s like to live and work on Maui. After their photo session, we had dinner at one of my favorite gluten-free friendly restaurants, Coconut’s Fish Cafe.
Lori has a very inspirational story with having had gastric bypass surgery 14 years ago, and maintaining a 160-pound weight loss.
