My husband and I decided to elope to Maui and knew that we wanted to hire a photographer to capture our special moment. I chose Katy after reviewing pictures from previous elopements. Katy was great leading up to the pictures, she had wonderful beach suggestions and other vendor suggestions for me. On the day of, we met at Maluaka Beach. Katy arrived early and prepared which is great in easing ones nervous mind on their wedding day :) We were so impressed with the amount of photos Katy captured during our ceremony. Right after the ceremony, it began pouring. We went to another beach, in hopes of dodging the rain, no luck. Yes, every bride’s worst nightmare happened to us, fear not though! Katy was so kind enough to offer us another time to re-shoot photos. I cannot express how much this meant to us since we traveled so far and looked forward to the photos capturing our special day. We re-scheduled with her a few days later on a nice, DRY day. Taking photos can be awkward and she was great in directing us for photos. I loved the creative shots she captured. She is extremely talented and I felt very comfortable having her photograph us. The gallery she provided us was ABOVE AND BEYOND what we had expected. I adore them and can not wait to make my photo album. To anyone considering booking her - I HIGHLY encourage you to do so! She has great knowledge of locations, vendors, SO kind, and most importantly - she delivered wonderful pictures that I will cherish for the rest of our lives!
