St. Theresa Catholic Church Wedding in Kihei, Maui | M + A
On a beautiful, joyful day in early July, Mariana and Alexis were married in an elegant church ceremony at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Kihei, Maui. Mariana and Alexis planned their intimate, destination wedding from their home in Washington D.C. Alexis works as a data analyst, and Mariana works in non-profit management. They met while in graduate school at Georgetown University.
Mariana and Alexis had about 25 of their closest family and friends in attendance at their wedding. Getting ready images were particularly important to Mariana, so I started the afternoon by joining her and her ladies at their suite in Kihei. After capturing some sweet moments of the bride with her mother and bridesmaids, I met Alexis and his groomsmen at the church prior to the ceremony. Following the ceremony, we met on Launiupoko Beach in Lahaina for portraits before the group jetted off to the Harbor for a reception dinner cruise.
Mariana and Alexis are a sweet, beautiful couple, and their tropical wedding had so many special touches! I especially loved the tropical florals that you will see featured in the photos below.
