Honeymoon Photography Session at Maluaka Beach, Maui
Following their wedding in Louisiana, Sophia and Ross traveled to Maui to celebrate their honeymoon. They decided that it would be fun to document their time on Maui with a photography session. Although their wedding photographer spent several hours with them on their wedding day, let’s face it— weddings can be stressful! Having professional photos taken during your honeymoon allows your love for each other to be documented while you are much more relaxed, and with magical Maui as your backdrop.
I met Sophia and Ross for a sunset photography session at Maluaka Beach on Maui’s South Shore. We quickly learned that we all share a passion for a real food lifestyle! This was very exciting as Sophia and Ross had never met anyone who follows their lifestyle (we opt for properly-raised meats and fish, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and healthy fats, while avoiding processed foods and foods that are difficult to digest). In addition to photography, I am functional health and nutrition practitioner, so I am incredibly passionate about this topic! We had a great time talking about all of the healthy places to eat on Maui.
Outside of their interest in a healthy lifestyle, Sophia works as a social worker, and Ross serves in the military. Sophia and Ross are a beautiful couple, and their love for each other shines through in these photos. Ho'omaika'i 'ana (Congratulations) on your marriage, Sophia and Ross!
