Whimsical Elopement at Paipu Beach, Maui
Jennifer and Jesse live in Idaho, and they planned their elopement on Maui due to their love for the island. Their elopement was one of the most unique that I’ve had the pleasure of photographing! Most elopement ceremonies are 15-20 minutes, while their ceremony was only a few short minutes (hence why you won’t see as many photos of the ceremony as in others that I’ve photographed). The officiant was a friend of the couple. Jennifer and Jesse had some close family members and a few friends in attendance.
The couple also requested to do a “trash the dress” session where they both got into the ocean while wearing their wedding attire! It was so much fun! We coordinated this so that it happened at the end of the bridal portrait session, and then they were able to change their clothes and enjoy the remainder of the sunset at the beach.
